The "Circus" fountain in Nur Sultan is located on the square in front of the capital circus building. The circus structure, made in the form of a flying saucer, was opened in Nur Sultan on December 14, 2005. At the same time, a figure of a gold clown appeared on the circus structure, riding on a unicycle.
Six-meter circus-equilibrist was donated to the capital of Kazakhstan by a group of sculptors and architects of the Karaganda region. The circus figure is the center of the composition, which includes a musical fountain with ten two-meter figures in a circle, each of which symbolizes various genres of circus art.
According to local residents, only the kind of figures located in the center of the composition already creates the appropriate mood and is very happy for the children, being a kind of sign that they will soon have a cheerful, bright and colorful circus performance.
