Detail

Nur Sultan is considered to be the city of youth. One of the favorite destinations of tourists and residents is the Park for lovers. Depending on the season that you visit, the Park for lovers can be a romantic place with a romantic name. The park is situated between Saryarka Avenue and the KazMunaiGas building and was laid out in 2005.

The park got its name due to a bronze sculpture of a young, smiling Kazakh couple, a fragile girl in a transparent looking dress and a smiling boy. The benches in the park also have romantic names, for example, "Bench of first kiss" or "Bench of reconciliation." Behind this is a fountain containing a sculpture which appears to consist of a ring of large silver horseshoes. To the south of the park is a complex of cylindrical apartment blocks locally known as the 'seven barrels', 'seven batteries' or 'seven beer cans'.

Situated in the precincts of the Park of Lovers, this artwork monument would be best in Summer time when the fountain operates. However, during the cold months, it is just another monument with a view of the Baiterek Tower in the background. The entire surrounding area and Park are very picturesque, especially in summer. Now, decorated with the EXPO unusual sculptural compositions, flower beds and fountains look especially good. Nice walk to Baiterek. And when the trees grow up here will be quite cool!

The park is currently a fairly desolate place, but will perhaps improve as its young trees grow - more than three thousand young lime trees, firs, pines, birches and poplars, as well as maples and elms not typical for this area are planted in the park and the area develops.

It is a beautiful park with lots of small architectural constructions and a place where you can start a walk smoothly into the boulevard NurlaZhol, Baiterek, AkOrda. Letom - fountain, green trees, beautiful flower beds with national patterns of flowers.
The park is wonderful evenings when 'are playing' fountain. The show is unearthly. Here you have to spend any amount of time and enjoy the color and water ... dancing. A kiss of a loved one - at this time - is what Cupid had planned.
