One-tower mosque is located in the city of Semey, East Kazakhstan region. It was erected by Turkish architect Abdullah Efendi in the first half of the nineteenth century. The mosque is a rectangular single-dome structure with one minaret, made of baked brick. The mosque is known an architectural monument. Ancient mosque is a typical structure of eastern architecture with complex elements and rich decoration. Under the mosque itself is a basement that extends to the entire area of the building, it is divided into four equal parts, each of them has two entrances. Under the basement is still a tambour, which served as a clergyman place where they kept religious values. The main room of the mosque is a spacious hall with a deep niche, which is called mihrab. Mihrab is associated with the sacred city of Islam - Mecca. In the mosque there are sixteen ornately decorated window openings. And the dome of the building is decorated with a gilded crescent-shaped element. This mosque is amazing with its unusual beauty and stands out clearly against the backdrop of city streets.
