The mosque of Muhammadi was erected in 2003. A private entrepreneur Kazyken Anuarbekovich Mukhamadiev became the sponsor of its construction.
The mosque of Muhammadi is a building consisting of two minarets and a dome building, which has Central Asian features, namely a huge central spherical dome and Bukhara portals. The gentle blue color of the roof of the mosque symbolizes peace and tranquility. Sometimes domes are painted green, a symbol of Islam. The domes are crowned with crescents. The height of both minarets is 45 m. They are made in the Istanbul style, as they were built by Turkish builders. Each of the minarets has three balconies, from which, according to tradition, the muezzins call for prayer.
The building of the mosque is very spacious. It provides for several rooms: two prayer halls - women's and men's, as well as rooms for ablution and office rooms for abbots. The women's prayer hall is located on the second floor, and the male one on the first floor. The separate prayer of women and men is an important rule for the Islamic rite. If the prayer is on the same floor, then the men pray ahead. The floor in the prayer halls is covered with carpets, therefore at the entrance it is necessary to take off your shoes.
If we survey the dome building from above, we will see a cross-shaped structure. This is not condemned by theologians, since the criteria of the Muslim temple are completely different than the Orthodox or Buddhist. The building of the mosque must be spacious, and it should provide for several rooms: two prayer halls - one for men, another for women, office rooms for abbots and rooms for ablution. All this is in this mosque.
The floor is covered with carpets; therefore, when you enter, you are necessarily dressed: for when you pray, you often make prostrations, and before praying you must bathe. The inner walls are decorated with shots. Before the mosque there are two service rooms: a shop and a guard house. In general, the mosque is popular among Muslims from the business community. It is convenient to park, chat and discuss important issues.
